The Best Do It Yourself Hemroid Treatment
Hemroids are painful, embarrassing and a terrible daily condition to endure. The great news is, one can treat hemroids at home with the ways we’ll describe below.
Preventing hemroid flare ups is as necessary as treating them when they do happen. Review the list below and make sure you are not doing any of the following:
* Eating foods that can make hemroids inflame, like caffeine, alcohol, even nuts or spicy foods.
* Wiping and rubbing too much after using the toilet
* When on the toilet, straining or pushing
* Standing or sitting in the same place for extended amounts of time. Try to move and shift your position.
If you’re doing any of these things, stop now! You are making your hemroid symptoms worse! Instead, use these dietary alterations:
* Notice if any other food, in addition to those above, make your hemroids inflame and avoid it
* Eat plenty of fiber in your diet, or with fiber supplements. It’s a lot easier to eliminate with a fiber rich diet.
* Get at minimum 8 cups of water everyday. This, like fiber, should make it easier to have a bowel movement.
Should your piles get more painful, do everything you can to help allieviate them. If they’re refusing to get better, then they’re only getting worse. Make an effort to be proactive.
The regular hemroid treatment methods are drugstore medicines, for example Preparation H or Tucks medicated pads. Be careful though, the ingredients included in some medications advise they may not be safe for longer use.
Look and see if there are hydrocortisone creams in stock. The anti inflammatory properties will help being down swelling to the delicate skin of your hemroids.
You can find a zinc oxide cream, such as that in diaper rash ointments, to be very cooling. They will assist with sudden reduction in pain.
Aerosol sprays are at times around that include numbing ingredients.
You will also check to make sure that you’re patting the area instead of wiping or rubbing having using the bathroom. Soothing baby wipes are a great solution here, since they are easy on skin.
The numbing and bringing down of flare ups caused by putting ice on the area for ten minutes is a great way to lessen pain, and can be used multiple times per day. Sitz baths are an additional method. Just laying in bed to prevent muscle strain can be a good idea too if your hemroid symptoms are very bad.
Wetness|Moisture} causes worsening for hemroids, so switch to cotton under wear to keep yourself dry. If you are applying any hygiene products with dyes and perfumes, cease use. They’ll only irritate your skin more.
